The Knitted Church

Written by Mrs Williams

The children from New Mills Primary are getting involved in New Mills Festival by visiting the Providence Church on Mellor Road to view the vast variety of knitted items on display. When asked to find something that they thought nobody else would find, the challenge began! There were slugs and tadpoles, butterflies and bees. The harvest fruit and vegetables were all incredibly realistic and the teacups were incredible.

The festival runs until the 25th September so there’s still time to visit the church!!
