The PE and Sport Premium was introduced after the 2012 London Olympics to enable schools to make sustainable improvements to the quality of the PE, physical activity and sport they can offer, and to help pupils develop a passion for sport and physical activity.
In the financial year 2022-2023, New Mills Primary received £17,726 which we will use to continue to employ a dedicated PE teacher and to provide additional sports equipment. You can read how we spent the money in previous financial years and this impact this had, in the documents below.
