We would love as many people to take part in the bridges challenge as possible. The event is free but if you have fun please consider giving a small donation to the PTA as we haven’t been able to do as much fundraising for the school this year as we usually would. The PTA is now eligible for gift aid too!

Mrs Fisher is planning to visit all the bridges in one day as a sponsored challenge and to inspire the children. She will film her adventure and share it with the children when we are all back together.

When COVID rules allow, parents may also want to have a go at this or get together a team to run the bridges as a relay – any team size with the emphasis being on participation. We have suggested an order for the route starting from New Mills Primary School.

It is around 37km so it is a reasonable day out!
