Monitors and appraises staff performance.

Duties include:

  • Head teachers appraisal
  • Monitoring the appraisal and targets for staff
  • Ensure that there are clear links to the school improvement plan, whole school priorities and the teaching standards
  • Ensure a range of evidence is being sought to make an assessment regarding staff performance
  • Ensure that professional development is being adequately provided for
