Key Stage One Activity Day

Written by Mrs Williams

On Wednesday 9th November, children from six schools took part in the Key Stage One Activity Day at New Mills Leisure Centre. The event was run by Year 9 Sport Leaders from New Mills School – these pupils first opportunity to set up and run an event for younger children.

The children rotated round four different types of games including Crab Football and Balloon Volleyball. Our 30 Year One pupils had a great time learning new skills and working as a team whilst displaying very impressive behaviour and a consistently positive attitude.

Well done, Year One!
