House Performance Poetry Competition

Written by Mrs Williams

Friday 24th February 2017 saw the whole school involved in our annual Performance Poetry Competition organised in our House Groups.

Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter Houses gathered together for two practices during the week then performed some incredibly impressive poems for the whole school. The four poems performed were all very different and each House had put their own style on their poem.

Miss Whetstone was joined on the judging panel by Mr McAdam. They scored the groups on three different areas of performance with a maximum of 30 points available for each team.

The winning House, performing “Oi Frog” by Kes Gray, and scoring a total of 27 points was Winter House.

The silver trophy is now decorated with their silver ribbon.
