Friday 24th February was a busy day in Year 5. As well as the House Performance Poetry Competition, they had a visit from Mrs Rowland, Head of Computing at a High School in Manchester. (She is also mum to Lucy and Harry!) She came in for the first session of the day and brought with her exciting technology that we do not have in our school!
Each pair of children, programmed a microbit and Mrs Rowland was incredibly impressed with their behaviour and attitude during the lesson. So much so that she has offered to come into school to further Year 5’s learning and work with other classes.
Maybe you’ll be extending your Computing knowledge soon!
