The percentage of pupils who achieved expected outcomes in Reading, Writing, and Maths was 65% (53% nationally) and 10% of pupils at New Mills Primary achieved at a greater depth in all subjects (5% nationally).

For disadvantaged pupils 50% (60% nationally) achieved expected outcomes in Reading, Writing and Maths and 0% (7% nationally) achieved this at Greater depth.

The following information is from 2015-16 Y6 SATs data. This will be updated with 2016-17 data in November.

  • The percentage of Key Stage 2 pupils achieving average progress in reading was 85%.
  • The percentage of Key Stage 2 pupils achieving average progress in writing was 80%.
  • The percentage of Key Stage 2 pupils achieving average progress in maths was 80%. The average scaled scores were: reading 107, and maths 104.6
